Let's stand tall against hate!
We need your help.
These are very difficult times. The war in Israel and the rise of anti-semitisim around the world is impacting us all.
We all feel that we need to do something to combat the hate.
In the past few months many Jews have turned to the Jewish Center for comfort, solace and strength. The community has come together to stand strong as Jews and combat the ignorance and hate.
Chabad has stepped up and expanded our programming to be there in time of need. Shabbat dinners, Women's programming, Israel education, educational classes, children's events and individual counseling have all been enhanced with more participation.
On Chanukah hundreds of people gathered on the Historic Santa Fe Plaza to celebrate Chanukah 2023 and stand in solidarity with the Jewish community.
We were joined by NM Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham, Congresswoman Teresa Leger Fernandez and Santa Fe Mayor Alan Webber. They all spoke about standing with the Jewish community and not allowing hate and antisemitism to fester
It was heartwarming to see everyone come together.
We kindled the unique Giant Red Chile Menorah, danced to live music, ate latkes and doughnuts and connected with others.
EVERY NIGHT OF CHANUKAH we engaged Jews and non-Jews, sharing and inspiring them with gelt, doughnuts, menorahs, candles, music and dance!
Definitely inspiring Jewish pride and Jewish awareness to the broader community.
