Please help our hard working and invaluable chef Albert Martinez. If you have enjoyed falafel in our Deli, you have Albert to thank for the feather-light texture, the crunchy exterior and the delicious taste.
Our Albert was in a serious automobile accident in the last week of February. He spent over a week in the ICU and is only now beginning to emerge from his coma.
He has multiple and severe internal injuries. He will need extensive physical therapy even after he is able to leave his hospital bed. It will be months before he can resume his normal life and uncertain if he will ever be able to work again. Albert's five children, one of whom is severely disabled and is confined to a wheel chair, depend on him for their living expenses. He will be unable to earn any money to support them during the foreseeable future.

We have some great news!
Chef Albert has been released from the hospital and is recovering at home!
He thanks all of you for the emotional and financial support and prayers!
Together we raised $10,000 to help him with his needs while he cannot work. We hope and pray that he has a full recovery after his accident and will continue to work and provide for his family.
